Boys & Girls Clubs of Garden Grove is looking to hire Preschool Teachers!

Preschool Teachers are under the supervision of a Preschool Site Supervisor and is responsible for supervising a group of children, 6 months to 35 months old; planning, organizing, and conducting, and evaluating the daily program activities; communicating with the parents of these children and supervises Assistant Teacher and Associate Teacher

Location:

One of Boys & Girls Clubs Early Childhood Program sites

Schedule/Pay:

Hours: Full Time 30+hours/week, M – F, occasional evening hours

Hourly Rate: Teacher I: Starting at $23.50/hour + comprehensive benefits & annual years of service incentive that ranges from $500-$2,000

Teacher II: Starting at $25.50/hour + comprehensive benefits & annual years of service incentive that ranges from $500-$2,000

Pay Range: $23.50 to $30.33/hour (including supplemental pay starting on the 90th day of employment and based on hours worked)

Qualifications:

Teacher I: Associate’s degree in ECE or CD and Child Development Teacher Permit

Teacher II: Bachelor’s degree in ECE or CD and Child Development Site Supervisor Permit

Minimum of 3 units in Infant/ Toddler completed

1 year preschool teaching experience

Experience with Title 22

Experience with Title V, Quality Starts OC, Child Care Food Program preferred

Must have knowledge of child development, early childhood education and developmentally appropriate activities

Bilingual capabilities preferred (Spanish, Vietnamese, Korean)

Must maintain valid CPR certification throughout employment through BGCGG CPR Program or through another acceptable CPR certification agency

Must clear screening and background check
