Preschool Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners during their foundational years. Duties

  • Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans that incorporate early intervention strategies, literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic childhood development.
  • Create a nurturing classroom atmosphere that encourages positive behavior management and supports children’s emotional well-being.
  • Conduct assessments and utilize standardized testing to monitor each child's progress, tailoring instruction to meet individual needs.
  • Engage in classroom management by organizing activities that promote social skills, cooperation, and respect among students.
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians through regular communication to discuss developmental milestones, behavioral concerns, and progress reports.
  • Incorporate special education techniques to support children with diverse learning needs and ensure inclusive classroom practices.
  • Plan engaging lessons that foster literacy skills, numeracy understanding, physical activity, and creative expression suitable for toddlers and preschoolers.

Experience

  • Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential; familiarity with toddler care is highly valued.
  • Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and teaching physical education within early childhood education environments.
  • Experience with special education or early intervention programs enhances your ability to support diverse learners effectively.
  • Strong communication skills are necessary for collaborating with colleagues, parents, and caregivers to promote child welfare and educational success.
  • Previous private school or Montessori experience is advantageous but not required; a passion for childhood development and dedication to nurturing young minds are key qualities.

Must have 12 college units in early childhood education or child development.

Must pass a background check.

CPR certified

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
