Preschool Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves educating preschool-aged children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development, and ensuring their overall welfare in a safe and engaging setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and creativity.
• Educate students in various subjects including literacy, physical education, and social skills.
• Monitor and assess each child's progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss child development and address any concerns.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Incorporate special education strategies as needed to support diverse learners.
• Utilize Montessori principles or other educational frameworks as appropriate for curriculum development.

Skills

• Experience working with preschool students in an educational setting.
• Strong understanding of childhood development principles.
• Knowledge of child welfare practices to ensure the safety of all children.
• Familiarity with literacy education techniques to promote early reading skills.
• Background in physical education to encourage active play and movement.

• Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to various learning styles.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and staff.
