Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and early childhood development principles.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management.
  • Plan and execute engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of toddlers and preschool-aged children.
  • Support children’s social-emotional growth through effective behavior management strategies and individualized attention.
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate progress, address concerns, and promote child welfare.
  • Incorporate specialized techniques such as Montessori methods or early intervention strategies to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Maintain detailed records of student progress, standardized testing results, and classroom activities to ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development, classroom management, and early childhood education best practices.
  • Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education or tutoring sessions.
  • Familiarity with special education needs and early intervention techniques is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
  • Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is desirable; Montessori certification is a bonus.

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
