Duties
- Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic development.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective behavior management and classroom management techniques.
- Support early intervention strategies and special education needs to ensure inclusive learning experiences for all children.
- Engage children in activities that promote childhood development milestones, including language skills, motor skills, and social interactions.
- Monitor and assess student progress through observation and standardized testing, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to communicate student progress and address individual needs effectively.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized childcare environment that adheres to child welfare standards and daycare regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, including classroom experience with toddlers and preschoolers.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development theories, and behavior management techniques.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and Montessori methods.
- Experience working with special education students or early intervention programs is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Ability to manage a classroom environment efficiently while fostering creativity and independence among students.
