Preschool Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners during their foundational years. Your expertise in curriculum development, classroom management, and working with children will help foster a love for learning while supporting each child's social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Duties

  • Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic development.
  • Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective behavior management and classroom management techniques.
  • Support early intervention strategies and special education needs to ensure inclusive learning experiences for all children.
  • Engage children in activities that promote childhood development milestones, including language skills, motor skills, and social interactions.
  • Monitor and assess student progress through observation and standardized testing, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to communicate student progress and address individual needs effectively.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized childcare environment that adheres to child welfare standards and daycare regulations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, including classroom experience with toddlers and preschoolers.
  • Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development theories, and behavior management techniques.
  • Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and Montessori methods.
  • Experience working with special education students or early intervention programs is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
  • Ability to manage a classroom environment efficiently while fostering creativity and independence among students.
  • Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; relevant certifications in child welfare or daycare licensing are advantageous. Join us in shaping the future by providing young learners with the foundational skills they need to succeed!

Pay: $18.49 - $20.89 per hour
