Preschool Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners during their foundational years. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including Montessori methods when applicable.
  • Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, social interaction, and emotional development.
  • Manage classroom activities effectively to ensure safety, engagement, and positive behavior management.
  • Support children's literacy education through storytelling, reading exercises, and language development activities.
  • Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Conduct assessments of childhood development milestones and prepare progress reports for parents and guardians.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum enhancements, organize educational activities such as physical education and math games, and maintain a structured daycare routine.
  • Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, behavior, and welfare in a clear and positive manner.
  • Maintain compliance with childcare regulations, standardized testing protocols, and child welfare policies to ensure a safe learning environment.

Experience

  • Prior classroom experience working with preschool-aged children in daycare or private school settings is essential.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood education principles, including childhood development theories and classroom management techniques.
  • Experience developing curricula that incorporate literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional learning.
  • Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention strategies, and behavior management approaches is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with children from diverse backgrounds while fostering an inclusive environment.
  • Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
