At Right Start Kids Academy, we specialize in fun with a purpose! With three locations serving our community, we are seeking an exceptional Preschool Teacher at each location for the 2026–2027 school year to join our collaborative, energetic, and child-centered team. We are specifically looking for a Program Leader at our Park City location.

The ideal candidate is someone who has a sincere love for children, curriculum development, teaching, and is a lot of fun. This teacher needs to be well organized and able to create and implement preschool curriculum through exciting and interactive lessons and activities. Teachers will always be actively engaged with the children. We want a teacher that will be sweet, loving, fun, happy, and excited to contribute to the educational and social growth of the children in our care. We believe that children need consistent positive attention and expect teachers to exhibit this trait in the classroom as well. We enjoy a positive work environment and expect employees to work well and maturely with others. We are looking for an individual that is committed to grow the program and stay with our company for years to come. We may have additional hours available in our after school program if you are wanting more hours. Our year is from August-June with opportunities to work in the summer with our camps if interested.

Responsibilities

Supervise and lead children in all daily activities including but not limited to: centers working on developmentally appropriate milestones, free play, story time, music, art projects, snack and/or lunchtime, etc.

Work with director of operations and possibly the lead preschool director at other locations to create school year curriculum for ages 2-5. This curriculum needs to keep the children busy and having fun while working on hitting developmental milestones. You will also need to take into account the Utah Kindergarten readiness standards in the 4-5 year old class. Planning daily, weekly, monthly activities for program.

Conduct ongoing evaluations to make sure all students are on track and receiving the best possible support to make them successful.

Have a welcoming and approachable presence to all parents, students and co-workers. ?? Teach the parents and children you work with our center’s rules regarding safety and cooperation to help foster a safer and more structured environment as well as bolster client confidence.

Assist children in learning to work together through a variety of interactive games and activities designed to encourage cooperation. Assist in successfully resolving conflicts as they arise.

Leading and instructing other program teachers. Assigning schedules, approving timecard entries, educating on appropriate teaching/communicating techniques, and assigning daily activities/groups/stations, with children.

Qualifications

Having a current Child Development Associates (CDA) or a degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred. At least 2 years of Leading/Managing a preschool program is required. All applicants must pass a federal background check and become first-aid and CPR certified. Must enjoy being around kids and having fun! Must be comfortable speaking in front of a room of children and with parents, in both a kind and respectful manner.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
