Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate Montessori methods, literacy activities, and physical education to foster comprehensive childhood development
  • Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies
  • Engage with children through interactive lessons, tutoring sessions, and hands-on activities focused on math, early intervention, and preschool readiness skills
  • Monitor and assess each child's progress using standardized testing tools and observational techniques to tailor instruction accordingly
  • Collaborate with parents and caregivers to communicate developmental milestones, behavioral observations, and learning goals
  • Manage classroom routines efficiently while maintaining high standards of childcare and child welfare
  • Incorporate special education strategies to support children with diverse needs and promote early intervention initiatives

Skills

  • Strong background in early childhood education with preschool experience or daycare background preferred
  • Expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management methods, and child welfare practices
  • Experience working with children across various age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers
  • Proficiency in teaching physical education, literacy education, math concepts, and standardized testing procedures
  • Ability to communicate effectively with young children, parents, colleagues, and specialists in special education or early intervention programs
  • Familiarity with Montessori educational approaches and classroom experience in private school settings is a plus
