Preschool Teacher

St Clare Preschool is currently seeking a full time preschool teacher. St Clare is a wonderful and supportive ECE community dedicated to nurturing and educating young children.

Our preschool serves children from 6 weeks to 6 years with five separate classrooms. Our hours of operation are from 7:30am - 5:30pm. St Clare Preschool is located in SW Portland about 10 minutes from downtown with parking provided; we are also close to many bus lines.

The teaching position is a full time teaching position in a warm and nurturing environment that would include working with a co-teacher on all aspects of the classroom from curriculum development to working with the families. The position operates collaboratively with preschool co-workers and administrative personnel under some direct supervision. The shift is a regular 8 hour shift with an hour lunch break.

The position is fully benefited including health, dental, vision, life, retirement, vacation and sick, short term and long term disability. The preschool offers paid holidays as well as several teacher in-service days. All training's are paid by the preschool.

Wages are dependent on experience and education and are competitive in the Early Childhood Education field.

Two years experience in early education field, ECE or BA/BS in Early Childhood/Elementary Education required. If not already completed, First aid/CPR and Food Handlers will be required within 30 days and is paid for by the preschool.

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
