Preschool Teacher

Beanstalk is looking for Philly PreK (PHLPreK) Teachers to work full time or part time Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 2:30pm. We are looking for enthusiastic and creative Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching young children, a commitment to providing quality education, and the ability to maintain an engaging learning atmosphere.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have minimum of Associate's Degree in ECE or Related Degree
• Must have at least one year of experience teaching in a center
• Must have at least a B rating on the PA Registry Career Pathway
• Meet annual professional development requirements, per Pennsylvania Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL)
• Knowledge and experience with Teaching Strategies Gold Assessments
• Knowledge and experience with Creative Curriculum
• Ability to pass background checks
• Knowledge of ERS and Keystone Stars standards
• Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children
• Bilingual in any language a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of all students.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing learning environment for students.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and guardians.
• Develop positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
• Participate in professional development activities to stay current on best practices in early childhood education.

COMPENSATION:

• Competitive Salary at $19 to $21 per hour commensurate with education and experience
