Essential Job Functions
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS).
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
- Supervise children at all times to ensure their health and safety.
- Foster children's cognitive, language, physical, social, and emotional development.
- Observe, assess, and document children's progress.
- Complete daily reports, attendance, incident reports, and other required documentation.
- Maintain classroom cleanliness and sanitation in accordance with licensing regulations.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and daily activities.
- Promote positive behavior using developmentally appropriate guidance techniques.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development.
- Work collaboratively with administrators and fellow teachers.
- Follow all Bright Minds Academy policies, Georgia DECAL regulations, and health and safety standards.
- Ensure confidentiality of all children and family information.
- Assist during meals, rest time, playground supervision, and special activities.
- Report any suspected child abuse or neglect according to state law.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Director.

Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Early childhood education: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- CDA OR Higher E.C.E. (Required)
- CPR Certification (Required)
- Child Development Associate Certification (Required)
