Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in each child
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a respectful and inclusive atmosphere
Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or classroom setting preferred
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children
