Preschool Teacher (3/4 year old & VPK)

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in their foundational years. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans that align with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
  • Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among children.
  • Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, behavior management, and individualized instruction for children with special needs or requiring early intervention.
  • Assess and monitor children’s developmental progress through observations, standardized testing, and documentation to tailor educational approaches effectively.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to support children's welfare and developmental goals.
  • Incorporate age-appropriate activities that promote literacy education, motor skills development, and emotional regulation.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and compliance with childcare regulations while ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.

Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies.
  • Proven experience in classroom management within preschool or daycare settings.
  • Strong curriculum development skills across various subjects including literacy, math, physical education, and special education needs.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
  • Ability to implement behavior management techniques that foster positive social interactions.
  • Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools for young learners.
  • Experience working with toddlers and preschool-aged children in private school or daycare environments.
