Responsibilities
- Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans that align with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
- Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among children.
- Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, behavior management, and individualized instruction for children with special needs or requiring early intervention.
- Assess and monitor children’s developmental progress through observations, standardized testing, and documentation to tailor educational approaches effectively.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to support children's welfare and developmental goals.
- Incorporate age-appropriate activities that promote literacy education, motor skills development, and emotional regulation.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and compliance with childcare regulations while ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies.
- Proven experience in classroom management within preschool or daycare settings.
- Strong curriculum development skills across various subjects including literacy, math, physical education, and special education needs.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Ability to implement behavior management techniques that foster positive social interactions.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools for young learners.
- Experience working with toddlers and preschool-aged children in private school or daycare environments.
