Preschool Teacher / Childcare Team Member

Millwood Academy is seeking caring, dependable, and energetic individuals to join our preschool team. Our program serves children ages 6 weeks through Pre-K in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment.

We are looking for team members who are passionate about working with young children and committed to supporting their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

Responsibilities

• Provide active supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
• Maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios in accordance with Arkansas DHS licensing requirements
• Support and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and daily classroom activities
• Assist with daily routines including meals, diapering/potty training, and nap time
• Foster positive behavior and model respectful interactions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with team members and families
• Accurately complete required documentation

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Positive, dependable, and team-oriented
• Passion for working with young children
• Ability to meet DHS background check requirements

Preferred (but not required)

• Experience in childcare, preschool, or early childhood education
• CDA or coursework in Early Childhood Education
• CPR & First Aid Certification

Pay: $13.50 - $16.00 per hour
