What You’ll DoLead Teachers:

• Lead classroom instruction and daily curriculum implementation Maintain required child-to-staff ratios in compliance with AZ licensing Ensure safety and supervision at all times Communicate regularly with families Mentor and support Assistant Teachers Maintain classroom documentation and developmental records

Assistant Teachers:

• Support classroom routines and learning activities Assist with supervision and daily care Help maintain a safe, organized classroom environment Collaborate with Lead Teachers and center leadership

Essential Functions & Physical Requirements

This is an active role in a fast-paced preschool environment.

All Teachers must be able to:

• Maintain continuous visual and auditory supervision of children
• Lift and assist children weighing up to 40 pounds
• Frequently bend, kneel, squat, sit on the floor, and stand for extended periods
• Move quickly and respond appropriately in emergency situations
• Supervise indoor and outdoor play in varying weather conditions
• Assist with toileting, feeding, and other daily care routines

Child safety and licensing compliance are non-negotiable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• AZ DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card (required)
• Early childhood experience preferred (required for Lead role)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for working with young children
