Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher's Assistant to join our early childhood education team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster a love of learning, promote social-emotional development, and ensure a safe and inclusive classroom experience. Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and early childhood education activities
- Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping children develop social skills through effective behavior management techniques
- Engage with children during activities, providing individualized attention and support for children with diverse needs, including those with autism or disabilities
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment that promotes learning and exploration
- Support children’s developmental milestones by encouraging participation in age-appropriate activities such as toddler care, Montessori methods, or other educational approaches
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to each child's growth
- Assist in preparing educational materials and lesson plans focused on literacy education, numeracy skills, and overall childhood development
Requirements
- Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is preferred but no required
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Experience in curriculum development or lesson planning is desirable but not required
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team dedicated to fostering inclusive learning environments
- Certification or coursework in childhood development or early childhood education is advantageous
- Passion for working with children and supporting their growth through engaging activities such as toddler care or Montessori methods

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
