Preschool/Elementary Dance Teacher

<Duties>

• Develop and implement age-appropriate dance lessons that incorporate the styles incorporated in our combination and tiny tots classes including ballet, tap, jazz, acrobatics/tumbling, lyrical, and creative movement to suit preschool and elementary aged students
• Create a vibrant and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation, self-expression, and teamwork among children
• Incorporate elements of childhood development, behavior management, and classroom management strategies to maintain a safe and productive learning environment

<Requirements>

• Proven experience working with children in preschool or elementary settings, with a strong background in early childhood education or classroom experience
• Knowledge of curriculum development for dance education tailored to young learners
• Skilled in teaching various dance styles including ballet, tap, jazz, acrobatics/tumbling, lyrical, and creative movement.
• Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a fun and motivating environment
• Experience with lesson planning that incorporates arts integration, behavior management, and childhood development principles
• Strong communication skills for working with students, parents, and colleagues in an inclusive setting
