Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Preservation Supervisor to oversee and implement preservation activities for equipment, materials, and systems during construction, pre-commissioning, and handover phases of Oil & Gas projects. The role ensures assets are protected from deterioration in accordance with project specifications, client requirements, and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage the Project Preservation Plan in line with client and company requirements.
• Supervise preservation activities for mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment.
• Ensure proper preservation, storage, handling, and protection of materials and equipment at site and laydown areas.
• Conduct regular inspections to verify preservation status and identify non-compliances.
• Maintain preservation records, logs, checklists, and reports.
• Coordinate with Construction, QA/QC, Warehouse, and Commissioning teams to ensure preservation integrity.
• Ensure preservation activities comply with project procedures, vendor recommendations, and industry standards.
• Support audits, inspections, and client walkdowns related to preservation.
• Initiate corrective actions for preservation deficiencies and follow up to closure.
• Provide guidance and training to site teams on preservation requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of experience in preservation activities within Oil & Gas or EPC projects (Qatar/GCC experience preferred).
• Knowledge & Skills:
• Strong understanding of preservation methods for static & rotating equipment
• Familiar with Oil & Gas construction and pre-commissioning practices
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, and vendor manuals
• Good reporting, coordination, and communication skills

Preferred Certifications

• Preservation or QA/QC-related training/certification
• Familiarity with ISO standards and EPC project requirements
