Press, Media and PR Coordinator

Job Description

Yeryüzü Doktorları is looking for an experienced press, media and public relations professional who will lead the public and media visibility and organize all media activities for the organization. As Press, Media and PR Coordinator, he/she will be reporting to the Head of Communications.

Responsibilities

·        Managing press and media relations,

·        Ensuring targeted visibility of the organization in a kind of media channels

·        Preparing press releases for the organization,

·        Managing visual, written and digital news content,

·        Organizing PR events such as launches, seminars, promotions, exhibitions, public service announcements etc.,

·        Providing content for processes such as live broadcasts and interviews, in which the spokespersons of the institution will participate,

·        Monitoring and evaluation the reports related with the organization,

Qualifications

·        Bachelor's degree preferably in Journalism, Public Relations and Publicity, Media and Communications or related fields from reputable universities,

·        Minimum 2 years of experience in press/media relations with a strong network,

·        Strong organizing skills to manage PR activities and events,

·        Dynamic professional with strong leadership and communication skills,

·        Excellent language skills in both Turkish and English,

·        Team work oriented, self-motivated and open-minded,

·        No restriction to travel abroad,

Good to Have

·        Previous experience in a non-governmental organization,

·        Knowledge and understanding of current humanitarian issues.
