Our client, a well-established organization in the industrial supplier space, is seeking a
Pricing Analyst
. This is a hands-on role for a detail-oriented professional with experience in pricing analysis, chargeback management, and contract administration. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment while also being able to work independently.
Salary/Hourly Rate
$35/hr
Position Overview
The Pricing Analyst will manage pricing adjustments, contract data, and the chargeback process for distributors and customers. The role includes analyzing discrepancies, supporting AR/finance teams, and maintaining accurate pricing and contractual information.
Responsibilities Of The Pricing Analyst

Reconcile and process incoming distributor and customer chargeback submissions according to established schedules.

Investigate and resolve chargeback discrepancies, short-pays, and related disputes.

Maintain and update pricing agreements, contract information, and price deviations in internal systems.

Partner with internal teams, including Accounts Receivable and Customer Service, to address pricing and chargeback issues.

Generate and distribute reports on chargeback exceptions, variances, and pricing adjustments.

Support month-end and year-end accounting activities related to revenue and pricing.

Participate in process improvement initiatives, systems testing, and internal/external audits.

Provide training and guidance to colleagues on pricing and contract systems as needed.
Required Experience/Skills for the Pricing Analyst:

2+ years of experience in pricing analysis, chargeback management, or a related accounting/finance function.

Strong understanding of price management, contracts, and financial adjustments.

Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., MS Dynamics, Oracle, SAP, or similar).

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.

Effective communication skills for internal and external collaboration.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Pricing Analyst:

Experience in a high-volume, multi-entity, or multi-currency environment.

Familiarity with revenue management or contract administration systems.

Previous exposure to sales rebate programs or distributor programs.
Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
