About the role

Works with cross functional teams of sales, operations, marketing, GBS, finance, control in the cluster and PU level (when required) to implement the 4 elements of the pricing agenda across designated geographies.

The role is responsible for enabling improved performance through effective and efficient pricing and performance management across the business in the assigned geographies, using all systems available.

What you will deliver

  • Own the implementation and continuous optimization of strategic pricing initiatives, deal governance frameworks, pricing rules, and DOA compliance across the business.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to commercial and business stakeholders by translating complex pricing and market data into actionable recommendations that drive profitable growth and customer value creation.
  • Identify pricing gaps, commercial risks, and performance opportunities; collaboratively define data-driven and measurable initiatives with cross-functional teams to improve Brand, Customer, and Country performance.
  • Leverage advanced analytics, automation, and AI-enabled insights to proactively identify trends, anomalies, risks, and commercial optimization opportunities.
  • Drive a continuous improvement mentality by challenging existing pricing practices, simplifying processes, and identifying scalable opportunities through digitalization and intelligent automation.
  • Perform deep-dive post-intervention analysis to evaluate pricing efficiency, extract actionable findings, and continuously refine commercial strategies.
  • Partner with Pricing Analysts across META & GBS to ensure high standards in pricing analytics, pricing governance, master data integrity, and management reporting.
  • Lead end-to-end price change management for Automotive and Industrial businesses, ensuring accurate, agile, and flawless execution in a dynamic business environment.
  • Lead and continuously improve pricing operations including:
  • Price Change Management (New SKU / Bulk Changes)
  • Pricing Templates and Governance
  • Multi-format Price List Management
  • GST Management / Distributor Margin Organizational Changes
  • Price Premium and profitability analysis
  • Ensure high accuracy and integrity of pricing data while driving strong cross-functional alignment and governance throughout approval processes.
  • Deliver sophisticated commercial and pricing analytics to support broader business and marketing performance decision-making.
  • Identify capability gaps and development opportunities within local sales organizations; provide advisory support to strengthen commercial decision-making and pricing discipline.
  • Recommend improvements to global pricing tools, pricing intelligence capabilities, analytics methodologies, and discount governance frameworks.
  • Own and lead the deployment and continuous improvement of pricing waterfall capabilities in SAP to support data-driven pricing decisions and scalable commercial governance.
  • Thrive in a fast-changing environment by demonstrating resilience, adaptability, strong analytical judgment, and the ability to navigate ambiguity with confidence and impact.

What you will need to be successful

  • 5–7 years of experience in Pricing, Sales, Commercial Perfection, or related functions
  • Strong analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making capabilities
  • Experience with AI-enabled analytics, automation tools, and digital commercial solutions
  • Sophisticated Power BI and data visualization skills
  • Strong understanding of pricing governance, sales operations, and B2B/B2C commercial models
  • Experience with ERP systems and sales process automation initiatives
  • Resilient, agile, and adaptable approach in constantly evolving environments
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Proficient written and spoken English
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience or equivalent business qualification preferred
