Designation : Senior Executive

Department : Sales Support/Pricing

Reports to : Manager/Team Leader

Reports:

  • Submit daily reports reflecting enquiries received, quotations provided, and conversion rates.
  • Ensure all reports are accurate, timely, and aligned with team targets.

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Sales Support Executive to join our freight forwarding team.
  • This role will focus on managing sales enquiries, preparing accurate and timely quotations, maintaining enquiry logs, and supporting conversion efforts.
  • The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of logistics pricing, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Log all received enquiries in the Enquiry Log with proper referencing (including attached enquiry emails).
  • Perform regular audits to ensure all received enquiries are accurately logged and tracked.
  • Provide accurate and complete cost quotations:

o FOB enquiries – within 1 hour

o EXW enquiries – within 3 hours

  • Ensure all quotes reflect current rates, surcharges, and correct routing.
  • Random checks to be performed between enquiries received and quotations submitted to ensure quality control.
  • Deliver a minimum of 20 quotations per day.
  • Maintain an organized workflow to handle multiple enquiries simultaneously with a strong turnaround time.
  • Achieve and maintain a minimum 60% conversion rate on a weekly basis.
  • Use internal tracking tools/scripts (e.g., Script 2998) to monitor performance and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with operations, customer service, and sales teams for timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Ensure that all enquiries are followed up and closed with accurate feedback within 1-2 days of quoting.
  • Achieve and maintain a minimum 40% to 50% conversion rate on a weekly basis.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business
  • Minimum 3 years Customer Service experience in Air or Sea products

Language Skills:

  • Ability to communicate fluently in English. Knowledge of Arabic and Hindi is an advantage.
  • Ability to create routine reports and communicate clearly and informatively.

Computer Skills

  • Knowledge of EDP software
  • MS Office Suite (Power Point, Excel and Word).
  • Ability to understand and use the FRESCON site
