Pricing Nvocc

Key Responsibilities

Handle rate enquiries from the sales team, customers, and overseas agents.

Obtain ocean freight rates from shipping lines, co-loaders, overseas agents, transporters, and other service providers.

Prepare competitive quotations for import, export, cross-trade, and transshipment shipments.

Negotiate freight rates, local charges, detention, demurrage, and other related charges with vendors and shipping lines.

Maintain updated rate sheets for different sectors, routes, and carriers.

Coordinate with sales and operations teams to ensure quoted rates are accurate and workable.

Check vessel schedules, transit time, routing, free days, space availability, and equipment availability before quoting.

Prepare pricing for FCL, LCL, ISO tanks, special equipment, and DG cargo, where applicable.

Ensure all quotations include clear terms such as validity, inclusions, exclusions, free days, payment terms, and applicable surcharges.

Follow up on quotations and support the sales team in converting enquiries into confirmed bookings.

Compare market rates and advise management on pricing trends, competition, and route performance.

Coordinate with overseas agents for destination charges, delivery rates, customs clearance, and door delivery quotations.

Maintain records of all enquiries, quotations, approved rates, and converted shipments.

Coordinate with accounts and operations to avoid billing disputes and ensure correct invoicing as per approved quotation.

Assist management in preparing pricing reports, sales support reports, and route-wise profitability analysis.

Ensure all pricing is in line with company policy, margin requirements, and approval limits.

Required Skills & Knowledge

Good knowledge of NVOCC, freight forwarding, shipping line, and container logistics.

Strong understanding of ocean freight rates, local charges, THC, documentation charges, port charges, surcharges, and free days.

Good negotiation and communication skills.

Strong coordination skills with shipping lines, agents, vendors, sales team, and operations team.

Ability to prepare accurate quotations under pressure.

Good command of MS Excel, email communication, and rate management.

Attention to detail in rates, validity, currency, and charge descriptions.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month

Experience:

• PRICING NVOCC: 4 years (Preferred)
