Primary Care Attendants

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide mobility assistance including transferring and positioning clients safely.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Administer prescribed medications following established guidelines.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ mental well-being.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior to the healthcare team.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment within the client's home.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a personal care or caregiving role is advantageous.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to clients’ needs.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety protocols.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to clients’ homes.
