Duties

• Accurately transcribe physician-patient interactions during clinical visits using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and other medical documentation tools.
• Assist healthcare providers by capturing detailed notes on patient history, symptoms, physical examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans in real time.
• Maintain precise and organized medical records, ensuring all documentation complies with privacy regulations and institutional standards.
• Utilize strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and emergency procedures to support accurate note-taking and record-keeping.
• Support the clinical team by managing medical records requests, updating patient charts, and ensuring timely documentation completion.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems and EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems to streamline workflow efficiency.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication and high-quality patient care delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in transcription within a medical setting or related medical office experience.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and emergency room procedures.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and electronic medical records management.
• Excellent typing skills with high accuracy and speed to keep pace with clinical workflows.
• Knowledge of medical documentation standards and best practices for record accuracy and confidentiality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail under pressure.
• Prior experience in emergency room settings is a plus but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
