Primary Care Physician Assistant

Overview

Synergy Health 360 is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. This role requires strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes through comprehensive medical care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical histories and physical examinations.
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients under the supervision of a physician.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
  • Prescribe and administer medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and practice protocols.
  • Provide preventive care, health education, and counseling to patients.
  • Manage acute and chronic medical conditions in a primary care setting.
  • Perform clinical procedures as appropriate to training and scope of practice.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, community outreach programs, and ongoing professional development activities.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the state of practice.
  • National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in primary care required.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and evidence-based medical practices.
  • Excellent clinical judgment, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining effective collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems preferred.
