Job Overview

We are looking for a warm, dedicated, and child-centered Mother Teacher to lead a Grade 2 classroom. The teacher will be responsible for academic delivery, classroom management, emotional support, and building strong relationships with students and parents.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for all subjects as per Grade 2 curriculum (excluding specialist subjects).
• Create a positive, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Monitor and support the emotional and social development of students.
• Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and well-being.
• Prepare assessments, track student performance, and maintain records.
• Use creative teaching strategies to build foundational concepts in English, Math, and EVS.
• Manage classroom routines, discipline, and daily schedules.
• Collaborate with co-teachers, coordinators, and the academic team for smooth functioning.
• Participate in school events, trainings, meetings, and parent-teacher interactions.

Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate with B.Ed / D.Ed / ECCEd (mandatory).
• 1–3 years of teaching experience in primary grades preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to connect with young learners and manage a primary classroom.
• Creative, patient, empathetic, and child-friendly teaching approach.
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, online learning tools).
