Newton British School is seeking an experienced and ambitious Primary Key Stage Coordinator to join our thriving British international school in Doha. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated educator looking to take the next step into leadership within a supportive and forward-thinking school community.

About The Role

This is a full-time teaching position with additional leadership responsibility and dedicated time to fulfil the Key Stage Coordinator role.

You will play a key role in driving standards across the Key Stage, working closely with the Senior Management Team to ensure high-quality teaching, learning and pastoral care.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support teaching and learning across the Key Stage
• Monitor and quality assure planning to ensure progression, coverage and consistency
• Coach and mentor teachers to improve practice in planning, assessment and delivery
• Coordinate pastoral care and promote positive student wellbeing
• Develop and implement a Key Stage Action Plan, setting clear targets for improvement
• Track progress and use data to inform future developments
• Plan and lead Key Stage meetings
• Strengthen parent partnerships through workshops and school events
• Promote enrichment opportunities to enhance the curriculum
• Lead by example, maintaining high standards of teaching, behaviour and achievement
• Support the wider school vision and School Development Plan
  
  

About You

We are looking for a passionate and committed professional who:

• Holds a BEd or BA (English, Maths or Science) with PGCE/QTS (UK or Ireland)
• Has experience teaching the British Primary National Curriculum
• Demonstrates strong classroom practice and high expectations
• Has 3 years of leadership experience
• Is an excellent communicator and team player
• Is committed to continuous professional development and school improvement
