Primary - KS2 Teacher, NEWTON BRITISH ACADEMY - BARWA CITY

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary KS2 Class Teacher to join our team from August 2026.

As a Primary KS2 Class Teacher at Newton British Academy , you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning across the Key Stage 2 curriculum in line with the English National Curriculum. You will inspire pupils to achieve their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally, while fostering curiosity, independence, and a love of learning.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging, inclusive, and well-structured lessons across the KS2 curriculum in line with the English National Curriculum
  • Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes high expectations and excellent behaviour for learning
  • Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress, providing effective feedback and communicating regularly with parents
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners, including those requiring additional support or challenge
  • Promote pupils’ personal development, wellbeing, and safeguarding at all times
  • Contribute to curriculum development, school initiatives, and whole-school improvement priorities
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, parents, and school leadership
  • Participate in extracurricular activities, school events, and professional development opportunities
  • Requirements A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject area
  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, BEd, QTS, or equivalent)
  • A minimum of two years’ full-time teaching experience within a British curriculum school
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2
  • Strong classroom management and high expectations for pupil achievement
  • A child-centred, inclusive, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
  • Ability to thrive in a multicultural international school environment
  • A clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
