Primary & Middle School PE Teacher - Aug 2026

Chinese School Dubai is the first overseas Chinese school commissioned by the Chinese Ministry of Education and led by Hangzhou No. 2 High School. The school opened in September 2020 and received an inspection by the KHDA (Knowledge and Human Development Authority of Dubai) in March 2023. It was the only school in the batch awarded the "GOOD" rating.

Situated at 58C, Street, Mirdif, Dubai, UAE, the school is gearing up for the academic year 2026 with plans to bolster its workforce.

Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

• B.Ed or subject related degree and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent
• Proven experience of the subject
• The ability to share your outstanding practice
• A creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom
• Having KHDA Inspection experiences is preferred
• A commitment to the well-being and pastoral care of all students within their care. Holding a diploma/certificate in Inclusion education will be considered first.
• Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work closely with students and parents
• Participate in any relevant meetings/professional development opportunities at the school, which relate to the learners, curriculum or organization of the school including pastoral arrangements and assemblies.
• Work as a team member and identify opportunities for working with colleagues and sharing the development of effective practice with them.
• Contribute to the selection and professional development of other teachers and support staff including the induction and assessment of new teachers, teachers serving induction periods and where appropriate threshold assessments.
• Ensure that colleagues working with you are appropriately involved in supporting learning and understand the roles they are expected to fulfill.
• Take part as required in the review, development and management of the activities relating to the curriculum, organization and pastoral functions of the school.
• Cover for absent colleagues within the remit of the current teachers’ manual.
