Primary - Middle Science Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to teach students from Grade 1 to Grade 8. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of scientific concepts, a creative approach to teaching, and the ability to engage young learners in hands-on, inquiry-based science education. The teacher will be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive science curriculum aligned with educational standards and fostering a lifelong curiosity about the natural world.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging science lessons that cater to students in primary and middle school.

Design age-appropriate experiments and activities that encourage scientific inquiry and critical thinking.

Develop lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum and national/international standards.

Use a variety of teaching methods and instructional materials to accommodate different learning styles.

Assess, monitor, and report on students’ progress regularly.

Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity and experimentation.

Integrate technology and digital resources into science instruction.

Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary projects and school-wide science events (e.g., Science Fairs).

Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development activities.

Maintain classroom discipline in accordance with school policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Valid teaching certification/license, where applicable.

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a primary or middle school setting.

Strong knowledge of general science topics (Life Science, Physical Science, Earth Science, etc.).

Ability to teach in an engaging and interactive manner.

Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.

Familiarity with inquiry-based learning and 21st-century teaching methods.

Passionate about working with children and inspiring a love of science.

Preferred:

Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) in any Science stream

CTET-qualified (Central Teacher Eligibility Test)

Training in NEP 2020 implementation or CBSE capacity-building programs

Experience in organizing Science Fairs, school exhibitions, or related clubs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
