Primary School Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated primary school teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for educating and nurturing children up to age 11, typically teaching a broad range of subjects.

Key responsibilities include:

Creating and administering engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives

Overseeing the classroom to ensure a safe, productive learning environment

Assigning and grading homework, tests and other assignments to assess student progress

Communicating with parents about their child's development and attending parent-teacher conferences

Collaborating with other teachers and administrators to implement school policies and support student success

Specific duties:

Teach literacy, social science, numeracy, creative expression and physical education skills

Develop students' abilities and interests through creative activities

Guide discussions and supervise classwork

Test and analyze students to track progress in oral and written work

Maintain attendance records and enforce school discipline policies

Attend staff meetings, conferences and professional development workshops

Organize the classroom and learning resources to foster a positive environment

Motivate students with enthusiasm and imaginative teaching methods

Required qualifications typically include a bachelor's degree in education or a related field, relevant teaching experience, and strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills. Primary teachers should have a passion for inspiring young minds, patience, creativity and a commitment to helping each child reach their full potential
