Primary Teacher (AY 26-27)

GEMS- TBS (The British School El-Rehab) is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join our team for the Academic Year 2026-2027. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for teaching, a commitment to student development, and the ability to foster an engaging and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons based on the British Curriculum across various primary year groups.
• Engage students in meaningful learning experiences that promote critical thinking and creativity.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners and ensure all students succeed.
• Regularly assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to encourage academic growth.
• Create a warm and inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports the social and emotional development of students.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and wellbeing.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational practices.
• Adhere to school policies, particularly concerning safeguarding and student welfare.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education or a relevant field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of teaching experience in a primary setting, preferably within the British education system.
• Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Proficiency in integrating technology into teaching practices.
