Position: Maths cum Science Teacher
For an upcoming residential school for girls

We are seeking a passionate Maths cum Science Educator who believes teaching is not just a profession but a purpose — an opportunity to inspire inquiry, confidence, and wonder in young minds.

Our educators are not merely instructors of formulas and facts, but mentors who nurture curiosity, reasoning, creativity, and the courage to explore. This role is ideal for someone who brings subject expertise with humility, embraces experiential and inquiry-based learning, and views education as a shared journey of growth — for students and themselves.

Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Planning & Delivery

Design and facilitate experiential, integrated learning journeys in Mathematics and Science, drawing from Cambridge, NCERT, and other progressive frameworks.
Help learners connect concepts to real life through experiments, visual models, problem-solving, and hands-on exploration.

Student Mentorship & Care

Offer emotional and social support, cultivating a safe space where learners feel confident to question, explore, and discover.
Encourage a mindset where mistakes are stepping stones to deeper understanding.

Assessment & Feedback

Use reflective tools, portfolios, practical demonstrations, and process-based assessments to document growth — emphasizing reasoning, application, and conceptual clarity over rote outcomes.

Cultural & Co-curricular Engagement

Infuse maths and science learning with art, nature walks, experiments, maker projects, and interdisciplinary activities that bring concepts alive through context and creativity.

Professional Growth

Engage in reflective dialogues, peer learning, and continuous self-development as part of a supportive professional community.

Parent & Community Partnerships

Build relationships with families grounded in trust, empathy, and meaningful communication.

Ideal Candidate

  • 3–5 years of teaching experience (experience in residential, alternative, or progressive schools preferred)
  • Strong command over Mathematics and Science concepts, with the ability to make learning joyful, hands-on, and inquiry-driven
  • Familiarity with NCF 2023 and experiential pedagogies
  • Compassionate, emotionally grounded, and collaborative in approach
  • Comfortable integrating simple, purposeful educational technologies into everyday teaching

Working Rhythms

Schedule: Monday to Saturday (half-day on Saturdays)
Community Life: Active participation in cultural events, festivals, and exhibitions

A mindful balance between professional responsibilities and personal well-being is encouraged.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
