Primavera P6 Software Trainer

Job description:

The Primavera Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality training on Oracle Primavera P6 to students and professionals. The role focuses on practical, industry-oriented instruction covering project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and control, aligned with real-world project environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver classroom, online, and corporate training sessions on Oracle Primavera P6
  • Design and customize course materials, exercises, case studies, and assessments
  • Train participants on:
  • Project setup and WBS creation
  • Activity definition and sequencing
  • Resource and cost loading
  • Baselines, scheduling, and progress tracking
  • Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Reporting and dashboards
  • Conduct hands-on practical sessions using real project scenarios
  • Assess learner progress through tests, assignments, and practical evaluations
  • Provide post-training support and guidance to learners
  • Stay updated with the latest Primavera features and project management best practices
  • Coordinate with the training operations team for scheduling and course delivery
  • Maintain training quality and ensure high learner satisfaction

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Primavera P6
  • Minimum 2–5 years of practical project planning/scheduling experience
  • Prior training or teaching experience preferred
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills
  • Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, practical manner
