Eklavya Sports School, Sisai Bolan (Nursery to XII, Khelo India–accredited Fencing Academy) invites applications for the post of Principal.

About the Role

The Principal will lead the academic, administrative and sports-integrated environment of a residential school, ensuring excellence in both scholastic and co‑scholastic domains with a strong focus on sports, discipline and holistic development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall academic planning and implementation from Nursery to Class 12.
• Supervise teachers, non‑teaching staff and sports coaches; ensure effective classroom teaching and training.
• Monitor school discipline, student welfare, hostel life and safety in a residential set‑up.
• Coordinate with Khelo India / sports bodies for fencing academy activities, tournaments and training schedules.
• Ensure compliance with CBSE / Board norms, documentation, inspections and affiliation requirements.
• Drive school admissions, branding, parent communication and public relations.
• Use IT tools for data management, communication, academics and administration (ERP, emails, online records, etc.).
• Plan exams, time‑tables, co‑curricular activities, morning assemblies and events.
• Mentor teachers through observations, feedback and capacity‑building programs.

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Mathematics / Geography / English from a recognized university.
• B.Ed (or equivalent professional teaching qualification) preferred.
• Total experience: 7–10 years in school education.
• Administrative experience: Minimum 2 years in a leadership/administrative role (Vice‑Principal, Coordinator, Head of Department, Warden‑cum‑Academic Head, etc.).
• Experience of handling residential/boarding schools is essential.
• Strong IT skills; comfortable with computers, MS Office, WhatsApp, email, online portals and basic school ERP.
• Fluent in English and Hindi – spoken and written.
• Experience or interest in sports‑integrated education, especially fencing, will be an added advantage.
