Principal

A school principal's job involves overall leadership, managing daily operations, overseeing academics (curriculum, teacher evaluation, student performance), handling administration (budget, facilities, hiring), ensuring student safety and discipline, and acting as the key communicator with staff, parents, and the school board, focusing on creating an excellent, safe learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Vision: Setting the school's vision, fostering a positive culture, and guiding staff to meet educational goals.
• Instructional Leadership: Developing and implementing curriculum, supervising teaching, evaluating teachers, and promoting professional growth.
• ** Operations & Administration:** Managing budgets, scheduling, staffing (hiring/firing), and overseeing facilities, safety, and daily logistics.
• ** Student & Community Relations:** Communicating with parents, resolving conflicts, managing student discipline, organizing events, and representing the school.
• ** Data & Compliance:** Using data to make decisions, ensuring compliance with policies, and reporting progress to the board.

Core Duties:

• Staff: Hiring, evaluating, mentoring, and coordinating teachers and support staff.
• ** Curriculum :** Developing, implementing, and ensuring adherence to academic standards.
• ** Safety :** Establishing and enforcing security procedures and crisis management plans.
• ** Budget :** Planning, approving, and managing school finances.
• ** Student Support:** Counseling students, arranging remedial help, and addressing behavioral issues.
