Job Title: Principal

Job Purpose:

The Principal serves as the academic and administrative leader of the school, responsible for setting the vision, guiding staff, and ensuring holistic development of students. The role involves strategic planning, effective leadership, and fostering a positive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

1. Academic Leadership:

Oversee curriculum planning, teaching methods, and assessment systems.

Ensure high academic standards and continuous improvement in results.

Introduce innovative teaching practices and technology integration.

2. Administrative Management:

Supervise daily school operations, including timetables, discipline, and resource allocation.

Implement school policies and ensure compliance with CBSE/State/International Board guidelines.

Manage admissions, examinations, and official reporting.

3. Staff Leadership & Development:

Recruit, mentor, and evaluate teachers and staff.

Organize professional development programs and workshops.

Build a collaborative and motivated team culture.

4. Student Development:

Promote holistic growth—academic, co-curricular, and socio-emotional.

Ensure student safety, discipline, and well-being.

Encourage extracurricular activities, competitions, and leadership skills.

5. Parent & Community Engagement:

Build strong parent-school relationships through meetings, orientations, and open communication.

Represent the school in community events, boards, and educational networks.

6. Financial & Resource Management:

Prepare and manage budgets, infrastructure development, and resource allocation.

Ensure proper utilization of school funds and facilities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Postgraduate degree in Education (B.Ed./M.Ed. or equivalent mandatory).

Minimum 10–15 years of teaching experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.

Knowledge of modern pedagogical practices and school management software.

Ability to build relationships with students, staff, and parents.
