Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant, Java Scala Developer
In this role, you will be responsible for coding, testing and delivering high quality deliverables, and should be willing to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

Collaborating and leading part of a cross-functional Agile team to create and enhance software for data ingestion and entity resolution platform
Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Working with large, complex data sets from a variety of sources
You will be a hands-on Scala/Java developer involved in the full development lifecycle, focusing on bond position management & risk models and their integration with other systems to support the firm’s new initiative
You will work in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment, collaborate with several global teams within, and sometimes outside, Fixed Income, and interact directly with the trading desk to support their function.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications

BE/B Tech/MCA
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

Strong Scala or exceptional Java
Strong analytical skills
Experience in performance tuning
Ability to navigate a large and complex code base
Data structures, design patterns, multi-threaded programming and distributed computing
Financial knowledge, especially in bond
