Principal Designer C/S

Zachry Engineering Corporation (ZEC) is currently looking for a talented and self-motivated Principal Civil Designer to join our engineering team at the Omaha Design Center . The ideal candidate will produce engineering drawings and 3D design models of grading, drainage, paving, and roads utilizing Autodesk Civil 3D. This is a great opportunity to get involved with challenging and interesting design projects for various industrial clients.

• Associate’s degree in Drafting/Design/Engineering Technology or equivalent job-related experience (2 years job related experience equivalent to 1 year of college)

• Minimum 12 years of Civil Design experience.

• High level of proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D required. (MicroStation, OpenRoads, and GeoPak, are desirable).

• Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) in Civil 3D preferred.

• 10+ years of experience creating Surfaces, Alignments, Pipe Networks, Profile Views, Profiles, Assemblies, Corridors, Automatic labels, Section Views, and Sections.

• Must have good working technical knowledge of other discipline design requirements and interfaces.
