3D CAD Designer

Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented 3D CAD Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate will utilize advanced CAD software to develop precise 3D models and technical drawings for various construction and mechanical projects. Duties

• Create detailed 3D models and technical schematics using CAD software such as AutoCAD (5 years experience), Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks, SketchUp, Navisworks, and Civil 3D.
• Develop accurate 2D drawings and drafting plans
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Assist in the development of construction documents, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Utilize 2D animation skills for visual presentations or project simulations as needed.
• Review and revise designs based on feedback, ensuring precision and adherence to project timelines.
• Maintain organized digital files of all CAD drawings and related documentation for easy access and version control.

Experience

• Proven experience in CAD design within construction, civil engineering, or mechanical design fields.
• Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, SolidWorks, SketchUp, Navisworks, and familiarity with 2D animation tools.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, schematics development, drafting standards, and construction processes.
• Experience in creating detailed schematics for complex projects with attention to accuracy and clarity.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams. This position is integral to delivering high-quality design solutions that meet client specifications and industry standards while fostering professional growth in a collaborative environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $62,400.00 per year
