Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5 - 10 years of hands-on DevOps experience, with ownership of production systems.
Strong experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
Proven expertise in Kubernetes and Docker.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, or Java) with production experience.
Experience operating and supporting 24×7 production environments with strong security and reliability requirements.
Solid understanding of cloud security, data protection, and privacy best practices.

Responsibilities:

Own keep the lights on responsibility for all production environments, including availability, performance, and reliability.
Act as the primary owner for data security and privacy at the platform and infrastructure level.
Design, build, and maintain cloud-native and scalable architectures, preferably on Microsoft Azure.
Implement and manage infrastructure automation using Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Own monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability, ensuring proactive issue detection and fast resolution.
Lead incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and 24×7 on-call support for production systems.
Automate and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable safe, consistent, and reliable deployments.
Manage application deployments across distributed systems and enforce deployment standards and maintenance windows.
Optimize infrastructure performance and control cloud costs through efficient resource utilization.
Provide operational leadership and engineering support for multiple large-scale distributed applications.
