Principal Functional Consultant (SAP) ( SAP MM, SD, and FICO.)

Job Summary

The Principal Functional Consultant is responsible for leading the identification, design, and implementation of SAP solutions that align with client business requirements. This role plays a key leadership position in delivering complex SAP programs, ensuring best-practice process design, and driving successful stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead functional requirement gathering and business process workshops with clients.
• Design end-to-end SAP solutions aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.
• Configure SAP modules to ensure alignment with defined business processes.
• Prepare detailed functional specifications and collaborate closely with technical teams.
• Support system testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Assist in end-user training, knowledge transfer, and change management activities.
• Lead and mentor junior functional consultants and provide technical guidance.
• Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, project teams, and SAP technical resources.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• 12–15 years of hands-on SAP consulting experience.
• Deep expertise in one or more SAP modules such as SAP MM, SD, and FICO.
• Proven experience leading SAP implementation projects and functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in large-scale or enterprise SAP environments is highly preferred.
