Product Strategy & Member Insights
Define a clear product vision, strategy, and outcomes for your domain
Use data, research, and experimentation to deeply understand member needs, pain points, and opportunities across the Auto journey
Build and maintain a roadmap aligned to Auto business priorities and LendingClub’s financial and operational goals
Establish success metrics, track performance, and iterate based on results
Planning & Requirements
Translate member and business needs into clear problem statements, PRDs, and acceptance criteria
Partner closely with engineering to shape delivery plans and sequencing
Ensure product requirements reflect LendingClub’s credit, risk, compliance, and operational standards
Align early and often with teams that support member experience and servicing
Delivery & Execution
Own backlog prioritization and support sprint planning to keep teams focused on the highest-impact work
Manage cross-team dependencies, surface risks, and drive resolution
Keep stakeholders aligned on scope, timelines, and expected member value
Maintain a strong connection between delivery decisions and intended outcomes
Launch & Readiness
Define launch goals, readiness criteria, and success measures
Coordinate cross-functional enablement across operations, servicing, risk, and marketing to ensure a seamless member experience
Monitor post-launch performance and guide follow-up improvements
Business Alignment & Communication
Partner with the Auto Business Leader on prioritization, tradeoffs, business cases, and performance impact
Communicate progress, risks, outcomes, and member value across LendingClub
Represent your product area in business reviews, planning cycles, and executive forums
10+ years of product management experience, with demonstrated ownership of complex, cross-functional products
Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or equivalent work experience
Member-first, grounding decisions in member needs, experience, and financial health
Outcome-driven, measuring success by impact rather than output
Discovery-led, validating assumptions early and using evidence to guide direction
Cross-functional, with the ability to align teams across credit, risk, operations, and compliance
Responsible and compliant, designing products with regulatory and operational rigor in mind
Business-minded, connecting product decisions to Auto portfolio performance and LendingClub’s mission
Work Location
San Francisco
The above locations are eligible offices for this role. The locations have been determined to foster in-person collaboration with this role’s team or the related business lines. We utilize a hybrid work model, and our teams are in-office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. In-person attendance is essential for this role’s success, and remote placement will not be considered. LendingClub offers relocation, based on actual job level.
Time Zone Requirements
Primarily PT
While the position will primarily work local hours, LendingClub is headquartered in Pacific Time and our ideal candidate will be flexible working across time zones when necessary.
Travel Requirements
As needed travel to LendingClub offices and/or other locations, as needed.
Compensation
The target base salary range for this position is 197,000-230,000. The base salary of the role will be determined by job-related knowledge, experience, education, skills, and location. Base salary is just one part of LendingClub’s Total Rewards package. You may also be eligible for long-term awards (equity) and an annual bonus (which is based on company performance, employee performance and eligible earnings).
