Role Overview
We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to provide strategic and execution leadership across Mareana’s Manufacturing Intelligence (MI) Connect platform and applications, including AI-Assisted Batch Release (AABR), PBR Data Extraction, and Value Stream Mapping (VSM).
This role is for a senior product leader who can:
- Own end-to-end product strategy across multiple, interdependent products
- Serve as a thought partner to Engineering, Data Science, Sales, and Executive Leadership
- Translate complex Life Sciences manufacturing, quality, and supply-chain problems into scalable, AI-enabled platform capabilities
- Drive measurable customer and business outcomes, not just feature delivery
Scope & Ownership
The Principal PM will:
- Own a portfolio-level roadmap, ensuring coherence between platform capabilities and application-layer products
- Define north-star outcomes across Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain use cases
- Influence architectural decisions related to data models, genealogy, AI/LLM enablement, and integration strategy
- Mentor and guide other Product Managers (where applicable)
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for the MI Connect platform and applications
- Align platform capabilities (data fabric, genealogy, AI) with application use cases and go-to-market priorities
- Translate Life Sciences manufacturing, quality, and supply chain needs into scalable, AI-enabled product capabilities
- Drive platform architecture decisions related to data models, genealogy, AI enablement, and integration strategy
- Partner with Engineering and Data Science to deliver explainable, GxP-ready AI solutions
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers and support strategic engagements, executive workshops, and pre-sales efforts
- Ensure delivery teams focus on measurable business outcomes, customer value, and adoption
- Align cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Consulting, and Customer Success
- Define and track product success metrics, including adoption, ROI, cycle-time reduction, and compliance efficiency
- Mentor Product Managers and contribute to building a scalable, high-performing product organization
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 10–15+ years of Product Management experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior or principal-level role
- Proven experience owning multi-product or platform portfolios
- Background in Life Sciences manufacturing, quality systems, supply chain, or industrial data platforms
- Demonstrated success in influencing architecture and long-term platform strategy
Skills & Expertise
- Deep understanding of:
- Pharma/Biotech manufacturing workflows (Batch Records, CPV, Tech Transfer)
- Quality & compliance processes (Batch Release, APQR, Data Integrity)
- Supply Chain concepts (VSM, network modeling, variability, constraints)
- Strong grasp of data platforms, analytics, and AI/ML concepts
- Ability to operate comfortably from boardroom to backlog
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GxP-regulated enterprise software
- Exposure to graph data models, knowledge graphs, or digital twins
- Prior experience working with CDMOs and complex manufacturing networks
- Technical background in engineering, data science, or industrial systems

Pay: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
