Principal Product Manager Technical, ART19

DESCRIPTION

ART19 (an Amazon Company) is a leading audio platform, providing tools for on-demand hosting, distribution, ad serving, and audience measurement. At the intersection of publishers and advertisers, the company powers hundreds of millions of podcast downloads every month for the industry’s largest shows.

We are seeking a Principal Product Manager – Tech to own the product vision for key aspects of ART19, specifically as we expand our video offering, helping define and build new experiences across content distribution, analytics, monetization and more to make it easier for podcast publishers and creators to grow their audience and build businesses with their content. At ART19, product managers are the CEO of the features they build and closely collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Design, and more, to set strategy for, define, design, and directly manage all aspects of the customer experience. A successful candidate will be customer obsessed, highly analytical, have experience defining and delivering products at scale, and be adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into high quality, simple products and applications that our customers love. The ideal candidate will be able to boil down a big vision into a set of features we can launch iteratively and experimentally, and know how to build support for their vision while taking input from other creative contributors.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • 6+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with video encoding and streaming media standards
  • Experience in B2B, digital advertising, and ad-tech products/services
  • Familiarity and/or love of Podcasting

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
