Principal Product Owner

We are seeking a Senior Product Owner with deep expertise in driving design thinking workshops and the ability to translate complex business problems into actionable product solutions. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering Generative AI (GenAI) use cases within an enterprise context. The role demands both strategic leadership and hands-on execution, including the design and delivery of proof-of-concepts (PoCs) that demonstrate business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Design Thinking Workshops

  • Facilitate cross-functional sessions with business stakeholders, technology teams, and end users to identify high-value problems and opportunities.

  • Apply design thinking principles to define user journeys, pain points, and solution hypotheses.

• Product Ownership & Strategy

  • Define and own the product vision and roadmap for GenAI-driven solutions within the enterprise context.

  • Translate business objectives into actionable requirements, user stories, and epics.

  • Prioritize features and backlog items based on value, feasibility, and alignment with enterprise strategy.

• Hands-On Prototyping & PoCs

  • Work closely with architects, data scientists, and engineers to design, build, and deliver functional PoCs showcasing GenAI capabilities (chatbots, copilots, automation, summarization, RAG pipelines, etc.).

  • Ensure rapid iteration cycles, integrating user feedback to validate concepts.

• Enterprise Context & Governance

  • Align GenAI initiatives with enterprise data, compliance, and security standards.

  • Partner with governance, risk, and IT teams to ensure responsible and ethical AI adoption.

• Stakeholder Engagement

  • Present PoCs and solution roadmaps to business and technology leadership.

  • Act as a thought leader, educating stakeholders on the potential and limitations of GenAI in enterprise settings.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years in product management, business analysis, or related roles; at least 3+ years in enterprise product ownership.

• Proven experience in design thinking, user-centric design, or innovation workshops.

• Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, prototype, and deliver AI/GenAI PoCs.

• Strong knowledge of Generative AI concepts, tools, and frameworks (e.g., LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, vector databases, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, etc.).

• Hands-on experience in working with cross-functional teams (engineering, data science, UX).

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Familiarity with enterprise IT ecosystems (cloud platforms, ERP, CRM, compliance frameworks).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise AI/ML deployment and scaling PoCs into production.

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies with backlog and sprint ownership.

• Knowledge of security, compliance, and responsible AI frameworks in large enterprises.
