Job Summary:

The Principal holds a key senior leadership role, responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight of the institution’s academic framework. This includes the development and enhancement of curriculum, instructional quality, faculty leaderships, and overall academic excellence. The position ensures that academic initiatives align with organization’s mission, vision and long-term strategic objectives, while cultivating a dynamic, innovative, and student-centered learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, implementation, and periodic review of curricula across all academic programs in accordance with national and international educational standards.
• Approve instructional resources, including textbooks, digital content, and supplementary materials.
• Promote the integration of modern teaching methodologies and educational technologies to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
• Oversee the quality of teaching and learning by evaluating instructional delivery and classroom practices.
• Provide structured feedback and mentorship to faculty to support continuous improvement.
• Design and manage ongoing professional development programs to elevate instructional practices and subject-matter expertise.
• Conduct routine teaching observations and staff appraisals, ensuring compliance with academic policies and guidelines.
• Lead recruitment, selection, and onboarding of academic staff in coordination with the HR department.
• Foster a collaborative, growth-oriented culture that supports faculty innovation and excellence.
• Oversee workload allocation, performance evaluation, and faculty development initiatives.
• Resolve academic concerns and guide on pedagogical and professional matters.
• Contribute to academic strategic planning, including new program development and academic partnerships.
• Identify trends and opportunities for program growth and innovation. 14. Support academic advising processes and student progression planning.
