Principal QA Engineer

Summary of the Role

You’ll apply your technical, problem-solving, and leadership skills to ensure the quality and reliability of platform components. You’ll collaborate across teams and contribute to continuous improvement in QA practices.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in QA methodology, tools, environments, and automation solutions.

• Analyze, write, and carry out test standards and procedures for complex or cross-functional solutions.

• Document and investigate defects, recommend corrective actions, and support root cause analysis.

• Guide and mentor QA Engineers, Software Development Engineers, and Product Definition Analysts in quality assurance practices.

• Participate in QA community events and contribute to technical knowledge sharing and innovation.

About the Ideal Candidate

• Experience in manual and automated testing across functional, performance, and security domains, with familiarity in testing frameworks and automation tools.

• Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).

• Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a data-driven approach to quality improvement and risk mitigation.

• Experience guiding QA teams, collaborating across development and product teams, and promoting process improvements and automation adoption.
