Are you a seasoned Principle Resident Engineer ready to make a meaningful impact? At ILF Consulting Engineers UAE , we’re launching a transformative water transmission project across Al Saadiyat and Al Hudayriat Islands —and we’re looking for someone like you to lead the way.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to ensure timely project completion.
• Monitor construction processes for adherence to engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to the site team and resolve issues effectively.
• Track construction progress and recommend corrective actions to maintain schedule.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and collaborate with HSE team to mitigate risks.
• Act as the main technical contact for stakeholders, ensuring effective communication.
• Prepare and submit progress reports including technical assessments and project updates.
• Manage client relationships by addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
• Oversee final inspections and documentation for successful project handover.

Qualifications:

• 17+ years of experience in water transmission pipeline and pumping stations.
• Strong technical expertise in managing large-scale construction projects, especially in transmission and distribution infrastructure.
• Familiarity with UAE codes, standards, and regulations.
• Analytical skills including document review, problem-solving under pressure, and risk mitigation.
• Proven project management capabilities: supervising timelines, budgets, and coordinating teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead site-based teams effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interaction and team collaboration.
• Experience in infrastructure, power, or utilities sectors, preferably within the UAE/Gulf region.
• Prior experience with TRANSCO/TAQA transmission is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Fluent in written and verbal English.

Location: UAE, Abu Dhabi, Al Saadiyat and Al Hudayriat Islands.
